The Alden x Snake Oil Provisions Lafayette Boot in Reverse Tobacco Chamois is a modified Indy boot on smoke-colored Alden wedge outsole with tonal stitching, hook and eyelet closure, and waxed cotton laces. Made exclusively for Snake Oil Provisions since 2018, the Layfayette has a modern but somewhat rugged feel with a sleek wedge sole silhouette and subtle plain cap toe detailing paired with the heavily textured Reverse Chamois Leather. This beautiful and under-utilized leather is highly weather and stain resistant, hard-wearing, and has a signature and wonderfully unique earthy smell that makes unboxing them a true delight.
